I recently had the opportunity to spend the day touring Canon City with Realtor Dena Stevens. I was amazed that so many houses in Canon City still had T-Lock Shingles on them. I am assuming that most people that live in Canon City don’t realize that T-Lock Shingles are discontinued and if they have hail or wind damage on their roof they may qualify for a new roof thru their insurance company. If you recieved a letter from Colorado Corporate Control Unit telling you need to pay $225 by April 15, 2011 it is a scam!!!!!! The letter looks offical until you read the bottom and it says "This product or service has not been approved or endorsed by any Government Agency and this offer is not being made by an agency of the Government. This is a solicitation for the order of services, and not a bill, invoice or statement of account due. You are under no obligation to make any payments on account of this offer." When in doubt its always a good idea to check with the BBB. |
